SYSCOM Instruments SA, designer and manufacturer of industrial electronic products, began it's life in Zurich in 1974 as an engineering company. One of the founders, Werner Bolleter, is currently managing director of SYSCOM Instruments SA. In 1992 SYSCOM expanded to Sainte-Croix into the orphaned industrial complex of Hermes Precisa SA.The production facility moved up the ladder to the rank of research and production center and became head office of SYSCOM in 1998. In the same year SYSCOM was bought by the German Bartec group.

The company has some 50 employees, most of them in Sainte-Croix, the Zurich branch office focuses on marketing and sales.

The company is both ISO 9001 (TÜV) and ATEX certified.
