Syscom organization is located in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland with all key competencies on site: research & development, quality insurance, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, human resources and management. Syscom niche markets require very specific technical knowledge among others and therefore more than half of the employees hold an engineering degree. Since July 1998, Syscom organization is fully ISO9001 certified.

History

2021

Launch of the new MR3003 product line with major improvements to processing power and power consumption. MR3003 keep all MR3000 features and also conforms to additional international regulations pertaining human comfort including the ISO 2632-1 and 2632-2 and BS 6472-1 and UNI 9614.

2021

Joined the Terra Insights platform - the industry’s first, end-to-end sensor to cloud data delivery platform that supports proactive, risk-informed decision making and monitoring. Along with RST Instruments, Measurand and 3vGeomatics, we provide a unified and comprehensive platform for our clients.

2018

Launch of the autonomous ROCK product line with more than 6 months autonomy. The ROCK comes in 2 versions: with or without embedded solar panel.

2016

Completion of tailored MR3000 product lines with MR3000C, MR3000TR, MR3000BLA, MR3000SB & MR3000DMS.

Launch of the Syscom Cloud Software - SCS (https://scs.syscom-instruments.com). Vibration data empowering software.

2012

Launch of an entirely new product line MR3000, starting with the MR3000C.

Safety certification of the MARMOT seismic monitoring system.

MRSK up to Cat A Nuclear and safety integrity level SIL2, SIL 3 in double or triple redundancies. MR2002-SM24-K recorders up to Cat C Nuclear by the TÜV for NPP & LNG applications.

1998

SYSCOM Instruments SA is acquired by the BARTEC group this year and following this acquisition, rebranded as BARTEC SYSCOM.

1989

On request of the Swiss Water Authorities, Syscom Instruments SA develop a new generation of seismic monitoring system designed for dams. The MR2002 family era began at that time, also commonly referred as the RED BOX.

1979

Registration under Syscom Instruments SA, the 13th of February 1979, with a Swiss made production.

Foundation of the company operating as an engineering company in Zürich, Switzerland.
